Fall Garden 2012

I had all sorts of great stuff planned. Toscano Kale, 4 different types of carrots, broccoli, etc. Then I realized I need to replenish and "rest" the soil a little. So I planted "Green Manure". It is growing very well. I purchased the "Fall Green Manure Mix" from Johnny Seeds.

 

 

 

I have it in some spots but I'm also growing a few things. Most of which I started from seeds inside before summer was over. We had our first nasty storm, they made it through. These pictures were taken today after the storm:

 

Diablo Brussels Sprouts:

I've never grown them I hope they do well.

 

 

Kohlrabi:

I've never grown it either wish me luck! I've got the beginnings of one.

 

 

Georgia Vates Collard Greens:

We LOVE them!!

 

 

Bright Lights Swiss Chard:

Yummy!

 

I also planted seeds directly into the ground. I am not sure how they will do. I'm hoping to get tasty treats before winter.

The Prostrate Rosemary I planted to attract pollinators (bees, etc.) is still working hard!
